Maple Syrup Family Day
Saturday, March 28, 2026 ~ 9am-4pm

Inside the Sugar ShackDo you know how maple syrup is made? Did you know it takes 40 gallons of sap to make just one gallon of the delicious syrup? Come to the Richfield Historical Park on March 28, 2026, and see maple trees tapped, sap drip - drip - dripping into the bags fastened to the trees and steam hovering above the boiler while the sap bubbles.

Pancake BreakfastEnjoy a pancake breakfast with delicious 'real' maple syrup drizzled over your stack of cakes. Go to the Nature Park Pavilion to purchase your pancakes.

Blacksmith ShopExperience pioneer life by seeing outdoor cooking, watching a 'smith' at work, shelling some corn and more fun activities. Buy maple cotton candy and enjoy its delicious taste.

Again This Year - Maple Syrup Contest

Maple Syrup ContestSamples of syrup from maple syrup producers are entered into the contest. The syrup is rated for density, clarity, flavor, color and container/label. Three qualified judges will taste the entries and determine the winners. Visitors are welcome to watch the judging.
